Job Description:

We are looking for a skilled Shopify Web Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for building sites,  theme installation, customisation, and optimisation to ensure our Shopify stores run smoothly and effectively. This is a remote position with a competitive salary based on experience.

Key Responsibilities:

– Install, customise, and optimise Shopify themes to meet business needs.

– Implement new features and functionalities to enhance the user experience.

– Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Shopify themes and apps.

– Optimise site performance for speed and scalability.

– Collaborate with the design and marketing teams to implement changes and updates.

– Ensure cross-browser and cross-device compatibility.

– Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and best practices.

Requirements:

– Proven experience as a Shopify Developer.

– Strong knowledge of Shopify’s platform, Liquid templating language, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and jQuery.

– Experience with Shopify theme development and customisation.

– Understanding of e-commerce best practices.

– Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.

– Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

– 2 yrs + Experience with Shopify platform and respective plans.

– Familiarity with responsive design principles.

– Knowledge of SEO best practices.

– Experience with version control systems like Git.

Hours & Compensation:

– Project Based: Approximately 20-30 hours per week.

– Fixed Hourly Rate: Competitive and based on experience.

Further work will be available once each project is completed with the right candidate being employed on a full time basis.
